How can I pick up a card sent to me?

If you have received a Skyblue Card, the email alert should contain a direct link to your card along with a card ID. This link will be http://www.skybluecards.com/view.aspx?card=xxxx. You can view the card by visiting the direct link or by entering the xxxx ID in our Pick Up a Card page.

Why can't I log in

If you are a Skyblue member but can't log in, make sure you are using the correct email address and password. If your email address has changed then you must login using your old email address, then update your email address within Skyblue Cards. If you have forgotten your password then you can use our forgotten password page to generate a new password.

What Web Browser and computer do I need to use Skyblue Cards?

Skyblue Cards has been designed to work on all computers that can run a modern web browser, additionally you will need

  • Adobe Flash Player version 8 or later
  • Javascript support enabled
  • Session cookie support enabled

Please let us know if you experience any browser problems when viewing our site with your favourite browser.

I haven't received an email from Skyblue

Please check your Spam/Junk folders in case messages from Skyblue Cards have been flagged as spam. Our messages to members are sent by admin@skybluecards.com and our cards are sent by cards@skybluecards.com. You can add these email addresses to your Safe Sender list to prevent emails being filtered by you spam filter. If you think a message has been deleted by an over eager spam filter then you should let us know and we can arrange to resend if required.

Why can't I see the cards

This might happen if Adobe Flash Reader is not correctly installed. You should be prompted to download the latest version by our site, but if this is not happening the latest version can be downloaded.

What can I do if someone doesn't receive a card

If you find out someone has not received a card then it is possible that their spam filter has blocked the message. If it does not appear in their spam folder then you should let them know that the message will be sent by cards@skybluecards.com. If they add this address to their Safe Senders list then you can resend the card.

What is the best way to send one card to many people at the same time?

(a) within the Skyblue Send a Card Page

One way to send them is to cut and paste the names and email addresses into the 10 boxes on the personalise page, click "send card", then click "send again" and do the next 10. Please note you can only send cards in batches of 10 at a time (This is a Skyblue anti-spam feature). Although you are sending to up to 10 people at a time, any one recipient will just see the card addressed to themselves.

(b) using your own contact list

If (a) above is not an option for you, then you should send a skyblue card to yourself. You need to ensure that you put a generic name like "Friend" or "Our Friends" in the Name box on the Send A Card page. This is the name that will appear under "To" when the card is sent. You will then receive the standard Skyblue card alert message which you can forward to your contacts. If you want you can now change the greeting at the beginning of the email, this will be "Dear whatever name you chose" eg "Dear Friend ". You can change this to something more general eg "Hi Everybody".

When I send a card to multiple people will they see each other's email addresses?

No, when you send a card to multiple recipients, each recipient receives a different personalised link to the card and they cannot see other recipients names or email addresses.

Why do some of the links not do anything when I click them?

This can happen if your browser does not have Javascript enabled. Certain areas of our site need Javascript for functionality and you will not be able to use the site satisfactorily without Javascript enabled. If Javascript is disabled the following link will take you to a help page for enabling Javascript, if Javascript is enabled you will receive a confirmation message. Test Javascript.
